NSTP students  and 723rd Naval ROTC of Surigao Education Center joined the 29th International Coastal Clean-up with the theme: "Bayanihan para sa Malinis na Karagatan".The event was Spearheaded by the 723rd NROTC Commandant, Col. Edwin Alaba,SEC NSTP Director MR. Virgilio Galido, ROTC and NSTP Instructors . The event of coastal clean-up took place along Surigao City Fishlanding up to the coastal area of Roxas Extension,Surigao City last September 20, 2014.
